Adam grew up in Naugatuck, Connecticut. His father was a self-taught mechanical engineer, and his mother was a professional clown named Sparkles.
He studied finance and accounting at Drexel University in Philadelphia. While getting his degree, he had an opportunity to start his career as a runner on the Philadelphia Stock Exchange. Then, he worked in the hedge fund industry before seeing the need to start his own firm. Today, he is the owner of Curran Financial Partners. Their mission is to serve hard-working families like the one Adam grew up in and bring them a level of care and financial sophistication that the wealthiest individuals in our country receive.
He and his wife, Anna Claire, have two young boys and a third child on the way. Also, Adam is a servant to his golden retrievers Alice and Piper. He is a lover of all things golden retriever. Adam’s love of his adopted state of South Carolina is demonstrated in his dedication of his book, Retire Y’all: Your Guide to Retiring in South Carolina.
