Ilene Modica was born and raised in Long Island, New York. After high school she worked mostly as an administrative assistant and spent 7 years as a Principal's Secretary at Paradise Valley Unified School District. While technically not working anymore, she considers running their award-winning blog and social media to be a full-time job. Her hobbies include quilting and reading.
Gary Modica was born and raised in Queens, New York. Following high school, he first worked in the electronics industry and then the golf industry. He is now retired and enjoying wine and cooking.
Ilene and Gary are authors of two memoirs, Our Italian Journey and When Your Heart Finds Its Home.
