Jessica Coup was born in Lewisburg, PA and raised in Milton, PA. She attended Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA and earned a bachelors in journalism. She worked in a public relations firm, Markowitz Communications, the Andy Warhol Museum, then went on to become the Director of Marketing, Membership, Special Events and Fundraising of the Mattress Factory Museum. Her final position before retiring was with an international firm NEP Supershooters that designed, built, and leased mobile television broadcast studios to major broadcasters where she first managed logistics for many live sporting events and then moved into sales for the company. Jessica retired in 2013.
After retiring, she dedicated her efforts to photography, her work earning her a number of invitations to exhibit her work in Italy and Malaysia. On moving to Kuala Lumpur, she found a new passion: yoga, one to which she has devoted herself. It is that passion that prompted their move to Ubud where, in addition to honing her yoga skills, Jessica became a Reiki Master healer, an art that she practices in “retirement.”
